What does Enhance do?

Enhance uses Placewize AI to automatically bake ambient occlusion, optimise UVs, and improve mesh quality on the server. Your model is processed in the cloud — no extra software needed. Choose a quality tier:

Fast — Quick pass, best for previews
Standard — Balanced quality and speed
Premium — Maximum quality, takes longer

About compression

Compresses mesh geometry data to significantly reduce GLB file size. Smaller files upload faster and load quicker in the viewer.

Fast — Quick compression, good file size reduction
Max — Maximum compression, smaller files, slower encoding

Want Draco compression?

Compression uses Draco (broad viewer compatibility) via the gltf-transform CLI. It is a one-time setup:

Step 1: Install Node.js (if you don't have it)
Download from nodejs.org and run the installer. Use the default settings.

Step 2: Open Terminal (macOS) or Command Prompt (Windows) and paste this command:

          npm install --global @gltf-transform/cli
        

Step 3: Restart Rhino. The plugin will automatically detect gltf-transform and use Draco compression.

No need to navigate to any folder — the command installs it globally on your system.
